Account Executive - Packaging Industry Experience Required

Dallas, TX OR Houston, TX

Remote Position, but must reside within either the greater Dallas or Houston, TX areas

$100K - $200K + Commission + Bonus + Benefits

$525 Monthly Vehicle Allowance

Seeking a Senior Packaging Account Executive in Houston and Dallas, TX for a packaging manufacturer with a focus on e-commerce, display, retail and/or POP packaging!

Must have packaging industry experience, selling packaging solutions to Food and Beverage, Automotive, or Ecommerce companies.

This position is highly focused on display packaging and high-end e-commerce packaging. (customized point-of-purchase displays and high-end custom-designed corrugated packaging).

Required:

Packaging industry experience, selling packaging solutions to Food and Beverage, Automotive, or Ecommerce companies.

B2B sales rep with a “hunter” mentality, and ability to locate, develop and close new and existing business effectively in their territory.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in sales/marketing.

Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience (retail or display packaging/ manufacturing industry preferred)

Strong communication, interpersonal, listening and verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for generating new business and meeting sales goals to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within assigned sales territory.

Performing all duties from a foundation of trust and the highest ethical conduct, following established safety rules, company policies, and procedures.

Determine product specifications, quotes, and pricing.

Preparing weekly and monthly activity reports.

Compiling and analyzing prospective customer information within sales territory to develop prospect list.

Visiting customers and potential customers to evaluate needs while promoting additional products and services.

Maintaining customer records and relationships with key customer contacts.

Answering customer questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.

Performing packaging audits and working closely with the Design Team to create value-added solutions in a timely manner.
