Job Description:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Account Executive (AE) who understands the private markets and investment technology landscape. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales within this industry, building strong relationships with decision-makers and driving the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
Responsibilities:
- Own the entire sales process, including prospecting, nurturing leads, presenting solutions, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within private markets firms.
- Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue goals and long-term client success.
- Understand clients' needs and articulate Quantium’s value proposition for private equity, venture capital, fund-of-funds, and related firms effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, forecasts, and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in sales, preferably in private markets or investment technology.
- Familiarity with fund and portfolio management platforms and working with private equity, venture capital, or similar clients.
- Reside and work within the Eastern Time Zone (EST) to align with client and team needs.
- Strong understanding of private markets and the challenges faced by firms in this space.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools.
- Highly organized, with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
