Job Summary:
Haivision is currently seeking an experienced Account Executive (AE) - Broadcast to help us build the future of broadcast in the North American Market. The AE will be responsible for developing new customer relationships as well as managing existing key accounts within the Broadcast and Telecom markets. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with proven relationships among Tier 1 broadcasters. The candidate will be responsible for one of our most productive and critical territories and must have a history of high performance selling at the executive level and negotiating complex contracts.
**Candidate needs to be within 100 miles of NYC
Responsibilities
- Grow revenue by establishing a new customer base and cross-selling new product lines into existing accounts.
- Develop and manage business relationships with key channel partners specific to territory.
- Be a consultative seller who works at the highest level in key accounts while directing the efforts of the sales engineering and inside sales teams to ensure complete account coverage
- Devise and execute territory strategy that includes clear goals and KPIs. Success at this level depends on selling with intent.
- Consult with senior management in setting up and tracking objectives with metrics.
- Advise product and sales leadership of shifts in customer buying habits and technology needs
- Produce accurate and realistic monthly and quarterly sales forecasts by using Salesforce.com.
- Remain knowledgeable and current with industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets, including competitor information.
- Must be comfortable with 30-50% travel within North America.
Skills and Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of similar sales experience.
- Experience in outbound sales.
- Knowledge of Broadcast workflows and industry.
- Proven track record with demonstrated success as a sales professional.
- Ability to handle a challenging workload and prioritize tasks, utilizing team resources to multiply your impact.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Motivated, entrepreneurial, self-starter, capable of operating autonomously and can drive sales from start to close.
- Highly responsive
- Prefer experience with SalesForce.com and experience working with sales support staff.
