Travel: 25-40% (Mostly for tradeshows, events, and client visits)
Compensation: Base Salary + Commission

What We’re Looking For
We’re on the hunt for a motivated and outgoing Business Development Sales Rep to join our team. Your main focus? Finding and signing new customers who can benefit from our solar servicing solutions. You’ll be responsible for identifying prospects, nurturing relationships, and closing deals with third-party solar asset owners.
This role is ideal for someone who loves making connections, thrives on closing deals, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves at a tradeshow or conference. You’ll be representing us out in the field about 25–40% of the time, with the rest of your work done remotely. You'll have the flexibility to work from wherever, with occasional trips to Houston if needed.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Prospecting and reaching out to potential customers – phone, email, LinkedIn, industry events – you name it
- Attending trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build relationships and spread the word about what we do
- Running discovery calls and meetings to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions
- Building and managing a strong sales pipeline
- Collaborating with our operations and technical teams to make sure proposals are spot-on
- Keeping our CRM updated and sharing your progress regularly with the team. We use HubSpot
- Staying in the loop on solar trends, competitor activity, and where the market’s heading

We’re ideally looking for someone with most of the following, but if you’re a quick learner with a great attitude, we’re willing to train the right person:
- 2–5 years of business development or sales experience (bonus points if it’s in solar, energy, or a technical service industry)
- A proven track record of landing new customers and hitting (or exceeding) sales targets
- Confidence to work independently, especially in a remote environment
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and especially when it comes to presenting ideas
- Comfortable traveling to events and client sites when needed
- HubSpot CRM experience
