Position Overview
As a Local Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and growing a local book of business through face-to-face sales efforts, daily prospecting, and client relationship management. You'll work closely with operations to ensure service delivery excellence and play a key role in revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new LTL business within your assigned territory.
- Maintain and grow existing customer accounts through service-focused relationship management.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and revenue goals.
- Negotiate rates and solutions that deliver value to both the customer and Go2.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time pickups, deliveries, and service quality.
- Serve as the main point of contact for local clients, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
- Track sales activity and customer interactions in CRM tools.
- Stay current with market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience in freight, logistics, or transportation (LTL experience strongly preferred).
- Knowledge of local/regional carrier networks and pricing models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage a territory independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required with relevant experience.
