Account Executive (Start-up)
Pigeon Service is taking our online back-office services store to the broad market and we are seeking a missionary sales professional to help businesses solve problems, run more efficiently, and ultimately serve more people.
Pigeon Service is the primary line of business at Falconer which has been an established financial consulting practice for 3 years. We recently launched Pigeon Service given the demand for convenience in ordering back-office services online and price transparency in the modern market - just click to buy everything from bookkeeping to podcast production.
We are an alumni of the nth Venture startup studio which has a strong dedication to building and supporting companies with deep incentive alignment via profit-sharing and broad employee ownership.
As an Account Executive at Pigeon you will have the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions on recurring client service engagements and work closely with our team to help build a business where you will earn substantial equity. We are looking for honest, passionate, creative, and effective professionals of extraordinary talent to support and oversee client development and service
- Lead Generation - identifying and pursuing potential customers through various channels, primarily online and by telephone
- Sales Presentations - presenting the Pigeon services effectively to potential clients, highlighting benefits and addressing and overcoming objections
- Negotiation and deal closing - establishing the terms and conditions of the business relationship with clients, including pricing
- Building Relationships - establishing and expanding relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty as well as increase revenue
- Meeting Sales Goals - developing and executing to plan to meet individual and company sales targets
- Customer Service - providing highly responsive and effective service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Reporting directly to the President, Pigeon, this position is ideally suited for a person with the following experience and qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - persuasion, building rapport and trust through verbal and written modalities
- Product and domain knowledge - a thorough understanding of the customer and their needs as well as the Pigeon service portfolio
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Is passionate about making an impact via the financial services industry
- Thrives in a creative environment with ability to balance simultaneous projects and tasks
- Has substantial leadership potential attributes and experience
- Curious, highly motivated and open to the value of collaboration and diverse perspectives, willing and able to meet tight deadlines and be responsive to client needs
