What would you do at Ascend?
As an account executive, you will lead Ascend’s monetization of our customers’ and prospects’ annual AP spend by selling the value proposition of modernizing and B2B payments. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $97,000 plus commission.
Your day-to-day would include:
Working with Marketing to prospect within Ascend’s addressable market and develop a target account list
Meeting with prospect stakeholders both virtually and on-site to complete discovery and conduct demos
Leading internal teams including Account Management, Customer Success, Senior Leadership, and Sales Engineering to articulate Ascend’s value proposition
Maintaining accurate and timely pipeline and forecast data
Develop and present formal proposals, lead contract negotiations, coordinate and respond to RFP and INFOSEC requests and shepherd deals through close
Conducting research, facilitating automated campaignsand performing personalized outreach
What is Ascend looking for in a candidate?
Minimum 3 years of experience in selling payments solutions
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Account Executive in a SaaSsoftware company
Great people skills paired with the ability to collaborate cross functionally to win new business
Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and ability to prioritize
Strong analytical problem solving, negotiating and decision-making skills
Track record of consistent over-achievement against plan
