Position Overview: As a Sales Director for our Mid-Market team, you will be a key player in our growth strategy, focused on building and nurturing relationships with mid-market clients. This role is an individual contributor position, requiring a proactive, self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and a deep understanding of the mid-market landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to capture and grow the mid-market segment, driving revenue and market share expansion.
- Client Acquisition: Identify, engage, and secure new mid-market clients through a consultative sales approach, leveraging your industry expertise and company solutions.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and aligning our solutions to drive mutual success.
- Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to effectively position our offerings and address client challenges.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue, tracking progress, and ensuring timely follow-ups to achieve sales targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure a seamless client experience and effective solution delivery.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of successful progressive sales experience. Experience in the Point of Sale (POS) systems or Hardware space is ideal. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of mid-market sales cycles, client needs, and industry trends. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
- Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
