The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Outbound team. As an SDR, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by identifying and engaging potential customers within the high-end beauty industry. Your primary responsibility will be to generate qualified leads and set up meetings for our Account Executives. This is a remote position, and you will report directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing
What you will do
- Conduct research to identify high-end beauty businesses such as salons, spas, and med spas that could benefit from Phorest's software solutions.
- Use various tools and strategies, including Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales CRMs, to manage and track leads.
- Reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and social media to introduce Phorest's offerings and schedule meetings.
- Work with the marketing team to execute Account Based Marketing through gifting campaigns, events and other marketing tactics.
- Execute outbound campaigns to key account lists to create Opportunities
- Qualify leads based on specific criteria and pass them to the Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to refine messaging and ensure consistent outreach efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to effectively communicate the value of Phorest's solutions.
- Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance your sales skills and industry knowledge.
Who you are
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably within the beauty industry.
- Understanding of the beauty industry and how high-end beauty businesses such as salons and med spas operate.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales CRM tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for sales.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
