Job Description
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for developing and qualifying revenue opportunities. They generate new business opportunities to fuel CIMcloud’s sales team. They are responsible for managing prospective customers and better understanding their needs, driving new business opportunities, and building a solid pipeline of qualified leads for CIMcloud’s sales team. All BDR's go through a multi-week onboarding and sales training program where they are equipped for success. High-performing BDRs have opportunities for advancement within the Sales organization.
As a BDR, you will:
- Prospect and develop leads (outbound cold calls), qualifying leads (incoming calls, web inquiries, etc.) utilizing the phone, email, and other resources.
- Work and refine call cadences to increase contact and qualification rates.
- Make 125+ outbound calls per day using predefined call lists with assistance from marketing, meeting and exceeding lead generation quotas as assigned.
- Be responsible for effectively managing and successfully executing call campaigns, including follow-up and on-demand generation activities.
- Consistently meet outbound call objectives, process leads for turnover and follow up per requirements including the qualification and pass off to the appropriate team members.
- Establish account presence and build trust with contacts quickly while meeting various KPIs on Lead Quantity, Quality, Revenue, Turnover, and Follow-Up.
- Work with the sales team to ensure the smooth transition of information and feedback from generated leads.
- Utilize our BDR CRM tool, HubSpot, to manage daily and performance activities with the goal of maximizing opportunity potential.
- Participate in a Sales Professional Development program that will develop and prepare you for other sales roles, helping you grow in your role and take on additional responsibilities.
BDR Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College.
- Previous BDR, SDR or Inside Sales experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of technology products and services, an understanding of lead data, and CRM systems.
- Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to connect with prospects and experience building relationships that garner trust over the phone and by email with professionals at all levels within an organization, leading to a greater number of qualified opportunities.
- Ability to learn new SaaS platforms quickly and be able to explain their features and benefits.
- Highly organized, self-directed business style, with a strong ability to prioritize and interact effectively with all levels of management and other employees.
- High level of enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and highly self-motivated.
- Hungry yet humble with a desire to learn.
- Ability to collaborate in a “win as a team” environment including celebrating successes and offering collaborative advice to others within the team.
- Open to feedback, training, and ongoing coaching.
- Demonstrated track record at achieving measurable goals in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Prior phone skills training, including overcoming objections and customer indifference preferred.
- Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity.
- Able to learn and understand differing product solutions, features and benefits.
