Role Overview
The Account Executive will play an important role in managing relationships, helping programs believe 240 can help them, and identifying new partners we can help. The AE will work closely with partners to understand their needs and find ways 240 can provide them with long-term value. This role requires extensive travel (up to 100 days per year) to maintain strong in-person connections, drive account retention, and sustain growth.
Key Responsibilities - Account Development & Revenue Expansion
- Drive greater utilization of 240 within assigned high-opportunity accounts
- Leverage Case Studies, White Papers, 240 Conferences and documented Best Practices to cast a vision and drive change management in assigned accounts.
- Responsible for selling any new products/services that 240 creates and/or brings to market
- Client Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Deans, Testing coordinators, Professors, HR Directors, Recruiters, and key decision-makers, understanding their program challenges and aligning solutions to meet their needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for account escalations, delivering proactive communication and managing expectations.
- Strategic Planning & Market Insight
- Analyze industry trends, account data, and competitive landscape to provide value-added insights to clients.
- Use data to track account performance, make recommendations for new growth initiatives, and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes.
- Travel & Client Engagement
- Travel extensively (100 days/year) to meet with clients, conduct in-person meetings, and strengthen client partnerships.
- Be prepared to manage client engagement across diverse locations, ensuring a high-touch experience that builds trust and commitment.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in account management, strategic sales, or a similar role focused on platform adoption and growth within high-value accounts.
- Desirable Industry Knowledge: Experience in Education, with a strong understanding of influencing factors like budget cycles, funding constraints, and district or university-wide strategic priorities impact purchasing decisions

Job Type: Full-time
Base Salary: $85,000 – $90,000 annually
Variable Compensation Opportunity: Up to $40,000 in additional earnings
