Position: Business Development / SDR

Location: Remote (New York State residency required)

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 Base, plus uncapped commission

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Business Development Representative with a focus on the cannabis industry to join a rapidly growing team. This role is focused on lead generation and pipeline development, not account management or closing deals. The ideal candidate will have experience in cold outreach, lead sourcing, and event networking, with a strong familiarity with the New York cannabis market. Candidates should be able to travel for industry events in New York as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Cold calls, cold emails, and inbound lead handling
Set meetings for account executives and earn commission based on closed deals from those meetings
Attend cannabis industry events in New York and network with key players
Stay informed about market trends and build strong relationships in the cannabis space

Qualifications:

1-2 years of sales/marketing experience, preferably within the cannabis industry
Experience with lead generation and cold outreach
Comfortable working remotely and able to travel to in-state events
Knowledge of the New York cannabis market preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Additional Notes:

Remote position but requires physical presence in New York State
This is a lead generation role, not a closing role
