Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to work directly with the CEO and play a crucial role in expanding our client base. This position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about sales, building relationships, and having a real impact on the success of the company. This role is flexible, offering 20-40 hours per week, and can be part-time or full-time based on the candidate's preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate directly with the CEO to develop and execute strategies for building relationships with prospective clients, primarily at universities.
Conduct outbound cold calls and emails to prospective clients to generate new business opportunities.
Utilize Salesforce to manage leads, track progress, and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
Learn and receive direct coaching from the CEO and a former sales trainer to refine sales techniques and strategies.
Build strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and how Advize's solutions can meet them.
Follow up with leads and maintain consistent communication to nurture relationships and move prospects through the sales pipeline.
Work with an exciting startup environment, focusing on innovative educational technology and recruitment solutions.

Requirements:

Must have a reliable computer and phone to perform job duties.
Previous experience in sales, business development, or a related field is required - you’ve made cold calls and sent emails to potential clients before.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
A passion for education and technology is highly desirable.
