Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to work directly with the CEO and play a crucial role in expanding our client base. This position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about sales, building relationships, and having a real impact on the success of the company. This role is flexible, offering 20-40 hours per week, and can be part-time or full-time based on the candidate's preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with the CEO to develop and execute strategies for building relationships with prospective clients, primarily at universities.
- Conduct outbound cold calls and emails to prospective clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage leads, track progress, and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
- Learn and receive direct coaching from the CEO and a former sales trainer to refine sales techniques and strategies.
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and how Advize's solutions can meet them.
- Follow up with leads and maintain consistent communication to nurture relationships and move prospects through the sales pipeline.
- Work with an exciting startup environment, focusing on innovative educational technology and recruitment solutions.

Requirements:
- Must have a reliable computer and phone to perform job duties.
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or a related field is required - you’ve made cold calls and sent emails to potential clients before.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
- A passion for education and technology is highly desirable.
