About the Role:
As the Strategic Account Executive you will be responsible for the go-to-market activities for electric cooperatives (co-ops) within the Zeitview Utility vertical. In this role, you will get the exciting opportunity to evolve and execute a focused commercial strategy for a priority growth area at the company. This will require providing a holistic understanding of top priorities utilities are facing and building new and innovative solutions that will help address those issues. With a collaborative and creative mindset, you will be responsible for realizing substantial revenue growth for Zeitview’s newest vertical.
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with Zeitview Utility leadership, develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for co-ops to achieve corporate objectives and ambitious revenue targets
- Develop and maintain both executive and working commercial relationships that lead to a deep understanding of Customers’ existing needs and future requirements
- Leverage insight and workflow expertise to develop value-based solutions and new frontier analytics for revenue growth
- Contribute to and effectively communicate the Zeitview Utility brand and messaging to co-ops and be willing to quickly adapt based on a dynamic market and evolving customer priorities
- Actively manage and report on the immediate and long-term utilities pipeline with a strong emphasis on sales pipeline due-diligence and forecast accuracy
- Work collaboratively across the Zeitview business including Sales, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance to deliver on the business plan for the Utilities vertical
- Be the voice of the customer and partner with the internal Zeitview team to ensure the ongoing development of the product suite and optimize/build internal processes
- Building and maintaining knowledge of the energy market and industry trends, competitor intelligence, emerging technologies, and customer growth strategies
- Ensure strong working knowledge of all services/products offered by Zeitview to determine opportunities and threats
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience in B2B services and subscription-based sales in the energy industry - Must Have
- 5+ years proven experience meeting revenue targets and managing large, complex customers and projects while leveraging CRM system to report and forecast - Must Have
- 5+ years of value-based selling and developing a deep understanding of customer workflows and challenges across the energy industry - Must Have
- Have an intellectual curiosity and aptitude for building solutions solving customers’ business critical issues
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations to achieve commercial success
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and challenges independently and agility to adjust accordingly
- Effective organizational and planning skills with the ability to optimize own workload
- Able to work remotely and coordinate effectively with a fully remote workforce
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Interested in technology and the drone space. Any type of drone experience or knowledge of UAV operations and regulations is a plus!
