The Opportunity
UTR Sports is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive at UTR Sports, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a team of driven individuals who are passionate about growing the sports of tennis and pickleball. Our innovative tools and technology, including our gold-standard UTR tennis rating system and the UTR-P rating system introduced for the explosive growth in the sport of pickleball, power level-based play around the globe making tennis and pickleball better for players and providers alike. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by building and managing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities. This is a FULLY REMOTE position.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a dynamic and results oriented Account Executive for the Clubs Division. You will be responsible for growing revenue and selling UTR Sports software to new customers across both tennis and pickleball in a sales territory located in the United States. The Account Executive will also be focused on building long term relationships and closing new deals, as well as being a resource to ensure customers have success running events on the UTR Sports digital engagement platform.
To thrive in this role, you will need to be able to close new deals, manage accounts, be a strong strategic thinker, be quick on your feet, as well as friendly, tech-savvy, and an amazing communicator.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales & Relationship Building: Position and sell UTR Sports software tools and technology to tennis clubs, academies, and providers, empowering them to enhance player engagement, increase participation, and drive revenue growth at their facilities
- Lead Generation: Proactively supplement your sales pipeline by engaging in lead generation activities, including cold calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Remote Engagement: Develop meaningful connections through phone, video, and email, and conduct live product demonstrations via video calls to showcase the value of our solutions
- Sales Ownership: Manage the entire sales funnel, including lead generation, full sales cycle, customer segmentation, upselling, and ensuring a smooth transition from prospecting to closing
- Customer Insight & Alignment: Understand and align with customer goals, challenges, timelines, budget, and decision-making processes to tailor your approach effectively
- Performance Excellence: Consistently meet or exceed monthly quotas, leveraging your drive and determination to achieve sales targets
- Continuous Improvement: Commit to refining your sales process and staying updated on best practices, demonstrating a proactive approach to learning and development
A competitive base salary range of $55,000 to $75,000, with the final offer contingent on various factors including experience, skills, and organizational needs. Please note, this range has not been adjusted for geographic location differentials.
Requirements
- Educational Background: 2+ years of experience in a B2B sales environment, particularly with SaaS and paid product models
- CRM Expertise: Proficiency in online Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making
- Sales Mindset: Possess a data-focused, positive, and ambitious attitude, with the ability to interpret metrics and adapt strategies accordingly
- Quick Learner: Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts, staying agile in a fast-paced environment
- Solution-Oriented Selling: Passionate about educating and selling, with a strong focus on delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs
- Feedback & Communication: Capable of documenting client feedback and effectively communicating insights to the UTR team for continuous product and service improvement
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of driving tasks from ideation to execution and performance measurement
- Tennis Enthusiast: A background in tennis, either as a player or within the tennis industry, is highly preferred. Passion for the sport is essential
- Location: Currently residing in the United States with current eligibility to work in the country
