About the Sales Development Representative Position
As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in the growth of Stairwell by identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, introducing them to our unique cybersecurity solutions and setting the foundation for long-term relationships. Sales Development Representative Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Qualification:
- Research and identify potential customers within our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Conduct outreach through cold calls, emails, and social media to build interest in Stairwell's solutions.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure alignment with Stairwell's offerings.
Pipeline Development:
- Work closely with the sales team to generate a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives.
Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of Stairwell's product and cybersecurity market trends.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of Inception and related products to prospects.
Collaboration & Feedback:
- Partner with marketing to optimize lead-generation campaigns and messaging.
- Provide feedback on messaging, objections, and market insights to improve sales strategy.
CRM & Metrics:
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.
- Meet or exceed activity metrics, including calls, emails, and meetings scheduled.
Sales Development Representative Qualifications
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with cold calling and email outreach.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
Preferred:
- Passion for cybersecurity and technology.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales metrics/goals.
Additional Information: Minimum Base Salary of $70,000, OTE (On-Target Earnings): $85,000 + equity + benefits.
