The Role
The Sales Development Representative is the front line of the DRINKS’ Sales team. We find the world's fastest-growing eCommerce stores and alcoholic beverage brands and help them sell alcohol using our one-of-a-kind solution. This is a regular, full-time, exempt position which may require some travel throughout North America. DRINKS is home-based in Los Angeles; however, we are a remote-first company.
What You’ll do
- Outbound omnichannel prospecting to identify good-fit merchants and express compelling messaging via email and phone to build interest in a conversation. Pursue prospects through outbound omnichannel campaigns, sourcing your leads from LinkedIn and other data sources to set qualified meetings for Account Executives.
- Respond to inbound leads generated through our website, events, partners and other marketing efforts.
- Learn the ropes of the intricacies of alcohol eCommerce.
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through our CRM, Hubspot. You will attain key data to qualify prospects and generate “sales-ready” qualified meetings for Account Executives to close new business.
- Conduct high-level qualifying conversations with prospective merchants to triage and connect inquiries to the appropriate members of the DRINKS team.
- Work with the team to create and run product and solution webinars.
- Work closely with the sales team on key projects, such as influencer targeting, competitor matrixes, and customer research, to optimize the sales process.
About You
- 3+ years of experience in sales or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Superb professionalism and ability to interact with e-tailers and alcoholic beverage producers.
- Cold calling and lead-generation experience using HubSpot, LinkedIn and other SaaS demand-generation tools.
- Understanding of eCommerce platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce.
- Ability to communicate professionally with suppliers and customers on the phone.
- Strong and resilient sales work ethic and an ability to bounce back in the face of rejection
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment where priorities can change at a moment’s notice.
- Have an executive presence and are comfortable speaking with all levels of eCommerce professionals.
- Keep up with an unrelenting pace (the week, not the quarter)
- Experience working remotely.
Nice to Have’s
- 1+ year experience as a B2B SDR/BDR for a SaaS or technology company.
- A genuine passion for building a rewarding career in sales.

Primary Location: Los Angeles, CA
Primary Location Compensation Range: $26.44/hr - $36.06/hr + incentive compensation
