We are looking for a committed high performer who will join our team for the Senior Account Executive position.
The role of this person is to individually drive DataWalk sales in North America for commercial accounts with focus on the most advanced enterprises (ie. Fortune500 corporations) in the private sector where they are looking for leading edge technology. The territory is the Eastern United States, where you will be selling directly , utilizing your comprehensive sales skillset. You will act as an individual contributor thus strong technical understanding is required.
The Senior Account Executive should be well-organized, hard-worker, and a team-player, who is eager to run the complete sales process, including generating new leads using networking and events, delivering quality presentations, bidding, negotiating, contract management and closing. This type of work is goal-oriented, and may require irregular working hours according to business needs and possibly changing time zones. Old-fashioned lead generation (e.g., telemarketing) is not expected. The marketing department provides leads on a regular basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a tech-sales person with experience selling software and analytics (preferably fraud/crime/AML detection, or at least interested in such topics). We are looking for a person who will be able to easily discuss functional aspects of DataWalk, provide product demos directly to customers, and demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in our domain areas (tech-selling).
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, lead sales growth, penetrate new and under-served accounts and maintain customer satisfaction on a long-term basis.
- Develop and maintain account plans and execute sales strategies aligned with the account plans.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and manage procurement and contracting processes.
- Meet or exceed sales objectives. Build and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities.
- Submit accurate and detailed weekly sales forecasts to sales management.
- Provide quotes and present proposals to customers and engage face-to-face meetings with key prospects, customers, and partners on a weekly basis.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of DataWalk products, training offerings, competitive products, customer vertical industry, and have in-depth understanding of customer goals.
- Help customers make future solutions decisions based on product roadmaps.
- Communicate a strong technical understanding of DataWalk’s offerings and know when to engage assistance from pre-sales, engineering, marketing, and senior management.
- Recommend new products and product modifications to assure customer satisfaction.
- Exemplify professionalism and work to become a trusted advisor to customers and partners.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4–5 years of work experience in enterprise sales.
- Proven experience in selling software, analytics solutions, or graph solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Very good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluent English.
- Experience with sales techniques and tools.
- Good and credible references are required.
