Essential Functions:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by engaging in purposeful sales activities, such as sending emails, attending in-person and virtual meetings.
- Maintain adherence to standard team processes, including updating the CRM with new advertiser deals, completing RFPs in a timely manner, and using the latest rate card templates for all proposals.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Playwire’s product offerings to deepen and/or drive relationships.
- Develop and maintain a sales territory by building brand equity, business development, and advertising sales throughout the assigned territory.
- Generate a strong understanding of Playwire's products and media solutions.
- Cultivate and develop high-level client relationships on the client and agency sides and leverage a strong consultative approach for selling targeted marketing solutions.
- Identify revenue opportunities with existing clients/advertising agencies to grow existing relationships.
- Provide ongoing client management to partners including regular reviews of marketing plans performance, educational events, and client entertainment.
- Provide regular updates to management on pipeline of business, progress towards goals, territory updates, and opportunities along with region challenges.
- Perform client needs analysis to determine marketing pain points and develop strategies to address those needs.
- Exceed annual revenue goals.
- Achieve revenue goals set by the company for existing and developmental accounts.
- Prospect new business opportunities in the territory through regular outreach to new clients and advertising agencies.
- Engage in face-to-face and virtual meetings, presentations, events, entertainment, and other related efforts.
- Develop integrated media plans by collaborating with internal Playwire teams including planning, marketing, research, account management, and ad-ops teams
- Provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Provide management with timely updates on pipeline of business, progress towards goals, territory updates, and opportunities along with region challenges.
Qualifications:
- Relevant media sales experience; digital sales experience a plus.
- Advertising and media/planning/buying experience.
- Proven track record of developing and growing a client base and agency relationships.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Experience in advertising/media sales with the ability to develop, present, and sell high-level media strategy and marketing plans to C-Level clients/advertising agency teams.
- Driven to succeed with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Track record of exceeding revenue goals and overachievement
- Knowledge of strengths and weaknesses of competitive media is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to create effective sales promotions and adaptable, effective negotiating skills.
