As a Sales Development Representative, you will be a crucial part of our sales team, responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads to drive SwiftOtter’s growth. Your primary duties will include researching and engaging with prospective clients in person, via phone calls, email, and social media. We learn from standard practices, but we also like to think differently and approach these prospects in a new and refreshing way. You will work near the sales team to ensure seamless handoffs.
Responsibilities
- Identify exciting prospects from our CRM and other sources.
- Research meaningful outreach campaigns for these prospects.
- Travel to events and tradeshows to represent SwiftOtter.
- Execute campaigns through cold calling, emailing and social media.
- Work closely with sales to align efforts, share feedback, and improve lead generation strategies. Collaborate to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Communicate intelligently with prospects about eCommerce trends and SwiftOtter’s capabilities to answer merchant challenges.
Qualifications
- Excellent and empathetic communication skills are essential. We pride ourselves in “being there” for our clients. This starts at the very beginning of their journey with SwiftOtter.
- The ability to listen and take good notes. These notes are critical to ensuring a smooth handoff to sales.
- Driven. You are highly motivated and stop at nothing to help people.
- Creative. You will figure out how to get to a destination no matter the roadblocks that are in place.
- Proficient with technology: able to type (but not afraid to use pen and paper), utilize a CRM (Hubspot), utilize the Google Suite system.
