Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be lead generation to build our customer base and drive revenue growth for Renterra. This role offers opportunities for quick promotion within the company for top performers.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential customers within the heavy equipment rental industry
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through outbound sales efforts
- Utilize various prospecting methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach
Cold Calling:
- Conduct high-volume cold calling to engage potential customers and schedule product demonstrations
- Effectively communicate Renterra's value proposition and address initial inquiries from prospects
- Consistently hit cold calling and demo setting activity metrics
Customer Engagement:
- Qualify leads and understand their rental software needs
- Schedule product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our modern rental software
- Follow up with prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to refine lead generation strategies and sales processes
- Collaborate with marketing to develop compelling outreach materials and campaigns
- Provide feedback to the product team based on customer interactions to help improve our offering
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in B2B technology sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with potential customers
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to lead generation and cold calling
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
- Understanding of the heavy equipment rental industry is a plus, but not required
