Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Business/Sales Development Representative at Connect 5000. As a Business/Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating potential leads for Connect 5000's clients through market research, targeted outreach, and cold calling. You will be the first point of contact with potential clients, responsible for setting meetings for the Sales Executive team that will result in business opportunity for the company and our clients. This role will require excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a sales or business development role preferred
- Experience in inside sales or outbound telesales is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and achieve goals and deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable with cold calling, and doing market research to identify specific company and industry targets
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
