General Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in the employee benefits space and a deep understanding of employee benefit platforms and sales cycles. This role involves heavy prospecting to mid-market companies with 2,000 to 15,000 employees, setting meetings with HR and Benefits professionals, and working closely with our sales and marketing teams. Proficiency in Apollo, Salesforce, and LinkedIn is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential mid-market clients.
- Meeting Setting: Schedule meetings with HR and Benefits professionals to discuss Homethrive's offerings and solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective outreach strategies.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in Salesforce.
- Platform Utilization: Leverage Apollo and LinkedIn for targeted outreach and relationship building.
- Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up activities to ensure continued engagement and move prospects through the sales funnel.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the employee benefits space.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and progress towards goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in the employee benefits space.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record in prospecting and setting meetings with mid-market companies at a similar benefits provider
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of employee benefit platforms and sales cycles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apollo, Salesforce, and LinkedIn.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams.
- Self-Motivated: Highly motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Organized: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
