Lemon.io is a rapidly growing developer marketplace connecting top-tier software developers with innovative companies looking to build and scale their technology. As a founding member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our sales strategy and driving our growth.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Founding Account Executive to spearhead our sales efforts. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of the core team at a high-growth startup and directly influence our trajectory. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and contributing to the overall success of our marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
-Client Acquisition: Manage and convert inbound leads generated by our marketing efforts, while also proactively engaging in outbound activities to identify and secure new opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and build a robust pipeline.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by tracking prospects, managing stages, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to effectively position Lemon.io.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Product, Marketing, CS, & Developer Matching teams to align client needs with our offerings and improve our value proposition.
- Reporting: Track sales metrics, provide regular updates on progress, and analyze performance to continuously improve sales tactics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within a tech or SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing high-value accounts.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and negotiation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software.
Location: Remote, Based in the US (NYC preferable)
Pay range: $70k - $120k/year ($70-$85k base + unlimited upside).
