The Role: Zap, a rapidly growing software company, is expanding its US team with an Account Executive for the West Coast. As an Account Executive, you’ll be provided with a territory, enabling you to sell via both Partner channels and Direct to end customers. We are a niche Data Management and BI tool for the ERP industry, supporting platforms like Sage, Syspro, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics. Depending on the ERP, we either sell directly to End customers or through our Partner channel.
Top Responsibilities:
- Territory Planning: Strategically identify ERP highways to target for achieving sales goals. Determine whether the sales channel will be Direct or via Partners or both.
- Prospecting: Carry out outbound initiatives like cold calling etc. to continuously develop your pipeline required to achieve your sales targets.
- Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets for both Software and Services.
- Sales Metrics: Forecast and track sales metrics using our CRM tools—HubSpot and Apollo.
- Customer Success: Act as the main point of contact for Prospects and Partners. Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Account Management, Support, and Education teams to ensure customer success.
- High Severity Requests: Assist with high-severity request or issue escalations as needed.
- Community Building: Contribute to building a “Community” for Zap.
Requirements: We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- Experience: 3-4 years of direct sales experience within ERP/CRM/Business Intelligence or SaaS Market.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executives and C-level.
- Sales Achievement: Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Negotiation Skills: Excellent listening, negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
- Tool Exposure: Familiarity with tools and systems like HubSpot, Apollo, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Office 365.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: A flexible schedule allowing for varying work hours across multiple time zones.
- Work Environment: This role is home-based.
