Responsibilities / Position overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Lumanity, you will play a pivotal role in fueling our sales pipeline, driving early-stage conversations with potential clients, and identifying opportunities to grow our business. This is a high-impact position, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a consistent and scalable lead generation process.
Your ability to initiate meaningful conversations, qualify leads, and nurture relationships will be crucial to the success of Lumanity’s go-to-market strategy. You will gain deep knowledge of the healthcare industry, engage with life sciences decision-makers, and help position Lumanity as a trusted partner in delivering innovative commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify, prospect, and qualify potential clients across the life sciences sector using a variety of tools (LinkedIn, Salesforce, outbound calling, email campaigns, etc.).
- Pipeline Development: Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for the sales team through targeted outreach and follow-ups.
- Account Research: Conduct thorough research on target accounts to understand key decision-makers, business needs, and industry trends.
- Collaborative Sales Efforts: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align on campaign messaging, hand-off processes, and targeted outreach strategies.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) regarding prospecting activities, lead status, and follow-up actions.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about Lumanity’s services, industry trends, and best practices to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on outreach activities, KPIs (calls, emails, meetings booked), and conversion rates to identify areas of improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a healthcare, life sciences, or consulting environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and engage prospects.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), LinkedIn, and other sales enablement tools.
- Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated and driven by results with a proven ability to meet and exceed KPIs.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and follow through on tasks.
- Curiosity & Learning Mindset: Eager to learn about the healthcare and life sciences industries, and contribute to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Team Player: Collaborative, able to work cross-functionally with the marketing and sales teams to achieve shared goals.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $90,000-$100,000. The salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors.
