The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for outbound lead generation efforts to support pipeline growth for Active Network’s SaaS solutions. This role is focused on proactive outreach, identifying qualified prospects, and setting up sales-qualified opportunities for Account Executives. The SDR is a key contributor to the top of the sales funnel and plays a vital role in our overall go-to-market strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct 80–100 outbound calls daily to target contacts across assigned verticals.
- Deliver a minimum of 5 qualified cold call passes per month to Account Executives.
- Identify new business opportunities through prospecting and engagement strategies, including calls, emails, and social outreach.
- Partner with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoff and follow-up of qualified leads.
- Use CRM (Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., SalesLoft) to manage outreach and maintain accurate records of activities and progress.
- Stay current on product knowledge and market trends to effectively communicate Active Network’s value proposition.
- Participate in team meetings, ongoing sales training, and performance reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS or a technology-related role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- High level of motivation and a team-oriented mindset.
- Experience using Salesforce and outreach platforms is a plus.
Performance Metrics:
- Daily activity volume (calls, emails, touches).
- Cold call connection and conversion rates.
- Monthly qualified pass goal attainment (minimum 5 per month).
- Contribution to total pipeline generated.
