Summary:
Barn Owl is looking for a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative, to play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by effectively handling both inbound and outbound sales calls. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, showcasing our products/services and converting leads into loyal clients. We have a robust pipeline of inbound inquiries so there are plenty of leads with which to grow your income.
Responsibilities:
- Possess a deep understanding of the company’s products and services and articulate the value proposition to leads and overcome objections.
- Review and qualify inbound leads based on predetermined criteria set by the sales and marketing teams.
- Conduct targeted prospecting to identify potential clients and qualify leads.
- Communicate with leads via multiple channels including phone calls, emails, and live chat to gather additional information, answer questions, gauge interest, and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Initiate outbound calls to leads generated through marketing campaigns, cold calling, and other channels.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with leads in the company’s CRM (Hubspot). This includes logging conversations, updating contact information, and tracing the progress of leads through the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and optimize outbound sales efforts. Provide feedback on product features, pricing, and market demand to help improve product development and marketing strategies.
- Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of proven success in sales, preferably in a B2B technology environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivated, energetic, and passionate about sales and customer success.
What you get:
- On target earnings (OTE) of $120,000 which consists of $60,000 in base salary and $60,000 of commissions at quota with an uncapped commission plan.
