Description
Boomerang is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to join our expanding sales team. As a product-led growth (PLG) company, we have built a robust base of passionate users. Now, we’re focused on scaling our outbound sales efforts to convert users at target companies with momentum into broader enterprise accounts. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team and shape the future of our sales motion.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
- PLG-Expansion Led Motion: Utilize insights from our ICP and follow sales process to identify, engage, and expand existing users at target companies with momentum, utilizing your multi-department multithreading skills, to upsell and cross-sell into paid team accounts.
- Inbound Led Motion: Follow sales process with inbounds to convert into paid team accounts.
- Cold Outbound Motion: Work with our team to build and follow the cold outbound sales process. Taking existing ICP knowledge of successful customers and finding net new opportunities to pursue.
- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations.
- Task Completion and CRM Hygiene: Daily pipeline review, clean CRM, recap emails, follow up tasks, tracking numbers, and moving deals forward.
- Daily Huddles: Attend daily sales huddles and contribute ideas and time to moving motions forward.
- Feedback and Reporting: Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on user needs and contribute to the continuous improvement of our product offerings.
- Collaboration with VP of Sales: Work closely with VP of Sales to nail the motions and build scalable AE org.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar role in a SaaS company with a focus on product-led growth
- Demonstrated success in an early stage startup sales team
- Experience with expanding existing user accounts and converting free users to paid accounts
- Experience running longer sales cycles
- Experience working a mix of inbound, PLG-outbound and cold outbound
- Strong understanding of PLG strategies and how they drive sales growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Ability to work during 9am EST-5pm EST
- Be located in one of these 8 states: WA, OR, CA, UT, TX, NC, MA, NJ
Preferred
- Sold productivity suite previously (i.e. Zapier, Calendly, Dropbox, Typeform, Lucid, Motion, Notion, Asana, Trello)
- Ability to put time, energy, and work into taking something from 0 to 1

Compensation
$60-80k base, $150k OTE
