Position Overview
The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) is a key member of the executive team, responsible for developing and executing our global sales strategy. The CSO will be responsible for leading and managing the entire sales department, driving revenue growth, and ensuring that OpResONE achieves its ambitious sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, preferably within the consulting or professional services industry. It also requires someone with extensive modernized knowledge around social media marketing, Hubspot and other mechanisms for lead and pipeline generation. The CSO reports directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute a sales strategy aligned with business goals, identifying and targeting new business opportunities and markets, and establishing sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team by assisting with recruiting, training, and retaining top sales talent while cultivating a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue by acquiring new clients, expanding existing relationships, building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships, and managing the sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Market and competitive analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Manage Hubspot Sales Processes, Pipelines, and reporting to senior leadership
- Collaboration and integration: align sales, marketing, and operational strategies by partnering with different department heads for effective sales campaigns and lead generation while collaborating with the consulting team for seamless service delivery.
- Client engagement and relationship management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing tailored solutions and ensuring high client satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service. Collaborate with the Delivery Teams to support client retention, renewals of agreements, and continued business development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; master’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational resilience, business continuity management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of operational resilience and business continuity frameworks, standards, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the consulting or professional services industry.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities with a background in effective sales team development
- Honed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with strong ability to effectively engage with clients and associates at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements.
