We are hiring for our fast-growing, dynamic virtual team in North America.
We are looking for a full time Senior Account Executive to join our experienced team, specifically based within New York or Florida - however additional states could be considered.
The role offers variety and the opportunity to work within global teams and travel within the US and globally with clients and colleagues.
Account responsibilities
- Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, newswires, and blogs, for opportunities for clients
- Liaising on a daily basis with the team, clients, and the media, via telephone and email
- Relationship building and networking with colleagues, clients, and the media
- Preparing weekly status reports/emails, tracking and logging coverage, putting together coverage boards
- Building and keeping media lists up to date
- Attending client meetings and providing event/exhibition support when appropriate
- Researching, writing, and distributing press releases and other written collateral to targeted media
- Promoting news stories and features to the media, known as 'selling in'

- General administration duties
- Regular contributor to the face of Berkeley through social networking (including company blog and Twitter) both on- and offline
- Understand, support, and demonstrate the use of the agency values (Passion, Inquisitiveness, Entrepreneurship, Sharing)
- Demonstrate Berkeley’s storytelling philosophy (Bad News, Human Interest, Topicality) through written and verbal work to both media and clients

- Salary range for the role: $60,000-$75,000 (factors such as relevant education, qualifications, experience, certifications, skills, geographic location will determine band range).
